City of Alameda Budget Challenge

The City was successful in balancing last year's budget, but forecasts estimate a $2.3 million General Fund deficit for FY 2013-14. The Budget Challenge is an interactive budget simulation that presents examples of policy choices City leaders must face in developing a balanced budget.  We encourage our community to take the Alameda Budget Challenge.  Can you balance the budget?
